6 Anime Geniuses Underplaying Their Talents
Isshin Kurosaki
This is a well-known character, father of Ichigo Kurosaki, Isshin Kurosaki. He plays to be a weak and silly character in the beginning but the story turns out to be a lot more interesting in the later stages. He even trains Ichigo to defeat Aizen. His true identity reveal might have been cool and all but it was still a little surprising. Like all the cool anime characters, he shows his genius side when in need. He prefers to be aloof in his own world.
Anime: Bleach
Glenn Radars
I don’t know how popular is this series, but professor Glen Radars is like a typical cool anime character who has to be on your crush list. Well, He is on mine! ❤️
So, he comes off as a good for nothing, lazy professor, who knows nothing and desires to be nothing. It is only later that you understand his actions are all because of his brilliance and competence. Even the queen owes him a personal favour. He wins all his students and in the end and saves the day.
Anime: Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor
Chou Soran
He is a character from a very underrated series. In the beginning, he comes off as a total loser, a pervert and a weak kind of person. He had to survive in solidarity because he was different. And his solidarity was a gift to him from society (which is supposed to eliminate this feeling of loneliness) because society fears what it cannot fathom. As the story moves on, you realise that he is a pretty decent guy and quite intelligent as well. There is never a dull moment in this anime series.
Anime: Hitori no shita
Mio Kanzaki
A brilliant character who can see the sounds. Because he can see the sounds as a path in pitch-black darkness, he always seems to know what is right and that has turned out to be very boring for him. Luckily, he keeps on looking how can he make a sound that he likes. His smile at the end of the performance and his tears at the end of Tokise’s performance says it all. He is my favourite character in the show Kono Oto Tomare. After Chika Kudo of course.

A must on this list,
Jiraiya
This name needs no introduction. If you love and understand anime, it is highly unlikely that you would not know who Jiraiya is. His first appearance was rather unappealing. But as you go along with the series, you can’t help fall in love with the character. His fight with pain is amongst the best fights in anime. And seeing naruto shattered like that afterwards was a setback on this rollercoaster of emotions in my heart. It will leave you in such a hopeless condition that you can’t move on and constantly hope for a miracle to happen.
Anime: Naruto, Naruto Shippuden ❤️
Suzuka Takenami
He’s the koto club advisor for the Tokise high school. Koto is a traditional Japanese instrument. I am still amazed how writers can breathe life into musical interpretations. In Kono Oto Tomare, Sounds of life, he is a prodigy who was able to compose brilliant pieces at the age of 7. After it became something that he had to do, he left it. He then finds something special in the newly formed koto club at Tokise High school from the Kanagawa prefecture.

Do enjoy watching them. 😁
By writing the words series and characters, it seems like I am trying to convince and remind myself that they are not real. How pitiful! 😅
But I am who I am and I am not afraid to be transparent. So, I am cool with it. 😎❤️
